The seminar, entitled Alzheimer’s University, covered key elements of proposal-writing for EU programs such as Horizon 2020, and gave guidelines on the terms and procedures that are associated with these programs. Additionally, in-depth information was given regarding the Active Healthy Ageing Group and other European networks for potential collaborations.
The funding seminar was created as a response to requests for information regarding European funding programs by Alzheimer’s-related associations to the Panhellenic Federation of Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders. The training was provided by ADI to help strengthen and empower members of the Federation to identify and apply for new funding in support of research and care projects aimed at people living with dementia and their care partners in Greece.
