GivMed, through a grant of the TIMA Charitable Foundation, created a medicine donation program for geriatric units in Attica.
GivMed recorded the needs of care homes and other related geriatric units and developed an online system for the exchange and donation of medicine. Over 800 persons in geriatric units are the beneficiaries from the medicine donation program. The personnel of the geriatric units were trained by the GivMed team in the use of the online software for the exchange and donation of medicine. Through this program, local communities will also be informed of the importance of pharmaceutical waste and medicine donation.
