“My Electronic Wallet” Program
The goal of the “My Electronic Wallet” Program is to familiarize elderly citizens of the Larisa Prefecture with electronic banking transactions and ATM cards. It aims to showcase the advantages of using debit cards for small daily transactions. This program was designed in response to capital control measures in Greece; it is especially important as it will facilitate bank transactions for elderly citizens who are not accustomed to using ATM cards. As a part of this program, 30 presentations will be carried out in the Larisa prefecture taking place at the Open Protection Centers for the Elderly and at the local cultural associations. The presentations will aim to explain to elderly citizens, in simple and comprehensible terms, the advantages of using debit cards and how to securely use them. Ιt is estimated that a total of 900 beneficiaries will be reached within the Larisa prefecture.
This grant is implemented through the Points of Support program I.
