The organization is a member of FEBA (European Federation of Food Banks). In addition to Athens, Food Banks were recently established in several other Greek cities, namely, Thessaloniki, Larissa, Drama, Ioannina, and Irakleio. Food Bank accepts food donations and distributes them to 155 non-profit organizations with 56,000 individual beneficiaries yearly. These organizations include care homes, rehabilitation centers, organizations for children, people with disabilities, and soup kitchens. Since its founding, Food Bank has distributed about 22,000 tons of food to those in need.
