A total of 140 beneficiaries will participate in both individual and group sessions as part of this grant. Each participant goes through a structured program whereby they go through individual sessions first and move on to group sessions, in this way supporting their network and allowing for peer-to-peer support from the community. Additionally, a total of 80 patients will be supported with social work by Fairlife’s partner K3. Lastly, awareness-raising efforts about the disease will be made through webinars and podcasts.
