The methods have been developed through the organization’s experience with elderly recreational programs. The book uses a sensory approach that includes daily exercises using the 5 senses-touch, smell, sight, hearing, and taste. It includes exercises for 365 days of the year and is extensive in suggestions that can be carried out by elderly persons. The book can be used by the elderly as well as their caregivers. Through these exercises, the book aims to to stimulate the senses and trigger the recollection of memories from the elderly persons’ stages of life.
