The organization has worked towards creating social houses and providing shelter to the homeless. Human People’s first project was the renovation and furnishing of a 15-apartment residential building with a capacity of 57 people. The beneficiaries’ selection process was designed and implemented through a partnership with the City of Athens. Since then, Human People has continued its activities by housing more homeless persons in various apartment buildings. Each project is implemented through a partnership with the local Municipality. In addition to housing families, Human People also provides them with food supplies, medical aid, psychological support and employment placement advice.
Vehicle
The grant regards the purchase of a vehicle that will allow the timely pickup and delivery of various donated items such as furniture, food supplies and clothing. The use of the vehicle will decrease the organization’s operating expenses.
