In 2011, through 27 parishes located in the areas of Perama, Keratsini, Nikaia, Korydallo, Agia Varvara, Aegaleo and Haidari, the Holy Metropolis of Nikaia aided 2,800 indigent families. More specifically, 1,200 people received daily hot meals and 1,450 families received monthly food packages.
