These beneficiaries receive a variety of care at home services, such as nursing, psychosocial support, physical therapy, and at-home cleaning and housekeeping assistance. Additionally, Oikanos implements other programs that provide nursing support, pharmaceutical support, and social benefit services to other vulnerable individuals.

Continuation of the Care at Home Program for Seniors

The grant regards the continuation of a care at home program for 80 vulnerable seniors in the Prefecture of Irakleio who are not currently integrated in the EFKA program. The program will provide a variety of nursing and palliative care services; counseling regarding welfare and insurance matters; assistance with home hygiene and meal preparation. The program will also include awareness-raising, with a social media and press campaign throughout the year.
