In 1969 it narrowed down its operation to that of a care home in order to provide shelter and care to indigent elders. The care home has a capacity of 64 elderly residents but at the present time 57 persons reside at the care home. It only accepts autonomous seniors but provides the necessary nursing in case a senior loses his/her autonomy while at the care home. The Good Samaritan employs a staff of 32.
